VisionInnovation Co., Ltd. (CEO Kang Hyunsik), a company nurtured within the Chungnam Cheonan-Asan R&D Special Zone, has been finally selected for the Eco-Friendly and Energy sector in the 'Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

The 'Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project' is a large-scale support initiative promoted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to intensively discover and foster technology-innovative startups that will lead the global market. It selects and supports startups with super-gap technological capabilities in 10 major new industry sectors, including Eco-Friendly/Energy, System Semiconductors, and Future Mobility. Selected companies will receive business commercialization funding of 200 million KRW annually, totaling 600 million KRW over three years.

Founded in July 2021, VisionInnovation Co., Ltd. is a youth-led startup highly recognized for its environmental problem-solving and ESG management, based on its technology that enhances energy efficiency in manufacturing processes and reduces carbon emissions.

With this selection for the Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project, VisionInnovation Co., Ltd. will receive various follow-up support from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, including △funding for technology development, △participation in global expansion programs, and △connections to attract private investment. Through this, the company plans to upgrade its core technologies and secure technological competitiveness in the global market beyond South Korea.
