VisionInnovation is a company that manufactures injection molding machine nozzles. CEO Kang Hyunsik (34) founded the company in July 2021. CEO Kang introduced the company, stating, “VisionInnovation is a young manufacturing startup built on 10 years of manufacturing experience, and we are developing solutions to improve the injection molding process.”

“Domestic conglomerates implementing RE100 and ESG management are looking for solutions to increase process efficiency as an improvement plan for managing primary vendors. VisionInnovation signed an NDA with Company K through the 2024 Chungnam Open Innovation program and is currently conducting meetups with primary partners through technology validation. Through this technical validation, we have a proven case of reducing the defect rate in a process from 4.7% down to around 1%. In addition, we achieved the same level of quality without using hot-air dryers during the process of reducing the pre-drying stage. Based on these cases, we plan to leverage a sales strategy through open innovation. We believe our key competitiveness lies in technologies that enhance a company's cost competitiveness and reduce waste.”

To pioneer sales channels in overseas markets, VisionInnovation has signed an MOU with a local company in Vietnam. In the domestic market, the company is collaborating with Samsung Electro-Mechanics as well as vendor companies producing small injection-molded automotive parts to apply its products.

“Currently, electricity costs in Vietnam are higher than in South Korea, and both temperature and humidity are high. In Vietnam, the demand for motorcycles is decreasing, while the demand for cars has increased to approximately 6 million units. The needs of local injection molding companies in the automotive parts market are to reduce electricity bills by optimizing the drying process and to produce high-quality products. VisionInnovation's products are the optimized solution for these needs. We have held technical meetings with the Korea Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH), the Innopolis Campus, the Korea Auto Parts Association, and Hyundai Motor's Thanh Cong Group in Vietnam, and have proceeded with an export contract with the large-scale injection molding company, Thu Minh. In addition, we participated in the Global POC Program for entering Vietnam with Hoseo University's Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation and the Chungnam Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, where we conducted IR pitches locally and signed business agreements with injection molding companies. Our goal is to enter the Taiwanese market, where technology in the automotive parts market is highly advanced, based on our domestic market entry through open innovation with mid-sized to large enterprises and our expansion into Vietnam.”
